When you communicate with Denali Water Solutions, LLC (“Denali” or “Company”), we collect information about you to help us provide and improve our products, services, websites, mobile application, features and content, online marketing and advertising, and to administer our relationship with you (together, the “Service”). In this Privacy Policy, we describe the sources and types of information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared with others, and how we reasonably attempt to safeguard its confidentiality and security. This Privacy Policy represents our policies and intended business practices; it is not a contract and does not create any legal rights or obligations.

When you interact with Denali directly or through our company websites at and (our “Sites”), our mobile applications (“Apps”), social media properties, promotional activities, or otherwise communicate with us or certain third parties, we may receive information about you. We collect and maintain information about you and your organization when you use Denali Sites to manage or monitor devices, make purchases, register for or attend webinars, events, or sponsored events in which Denali participates, visit our offices, or interact with our Sites or Apps or otherwise communicate with us, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes with users, enforce our agreements and to protect, investigate and deter against fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized or illegal activity.  Terms and conditions for those users that log into Denali Sites or Apps and utilize Denali Services and make purchases with Denali may be found via our Terms and Conditions link on your emailed confirmation or via the web here.



Some of the information we collect can be used to contact or identify you or otherwise consists of personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”).  The Personal Information we may receive includes, but is not limited to:


  • Name, physical addresses, e-mail addresses, and telephone numbers
  • Transactional data, online activity data, IP address, and location data
  • Corporate-contract, employer, or other affiliation (such as employer name, title, and contract information)
  • Device and lock information (MAC address)
  • Other personal information you may voluntarily provide to customer-service representatives or via your participation in surveys, advisory boards, focus groups, and promotions


We also receive information that is not Personal Information (“Non-Identifying Information”), such as information about your browser or device. Certain Non-Identifying Information will be considered a part of your Personal Information if it is combined with other identifiers in a way that identifies you (e.g., combining your zip code with your street address). For the avoidance of doubt, the same pieces of information are considered Non-Identifying Information when they are taken alone or combined only with other Non-Identifying Information. User provided data will be stored and accessible to authorized personnel if you obtain a Denali account, if you sign into your Denali account through the Sites or Apps or use Denali’s services. Each time you provide any Personal Information to us through our Site(s), Service(s), Apps, or your Device(s), you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure/sharing such information according to this Policy. 



In addition to the information you personally provide to Denali, when you visit the Sites, whether as a registered user or an unregistered browser (either of these, a “Denali User”), our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website (“Log Data”). This Log Data includes, but is not limited to, information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type or the website from which you are visiting, pages of our Sites that you visit, time spent on those pages, information you search for, access times and dates, and other statistics. We may use this information to monitor and analyze use of the Sites and the Service (“Usage Information”), increase the Sites’ functionality, security, and user-friendliness, and better tailor the Sites to our visitors’ needs. For example, some of this information may be collected so that when you visit the Sites again, it will recognize you, and serve Denali information appropriate to you and your interests. We also use this information to verify that visitors to the Sites meet the criteria required to process their requests.


The Apps may collect certain information from you automatically to improve your experience and maximize functionality. This information may include but is not limited to your domain name, what App features you use, dashboard or event history and details, amount of time you use the App, your device identification, data concerning your operating system and/or browser, and App links you click. This Usage Information may be stored or accessed using a variety of technologies that may be downloaded to your personal computer, laptop, tablet or mobile phone (a "Device") whenever you visit or interact with our Sites, Applications or Devices. Usage Information may be non-identifying or may be associated with you. To the extent that we associate Usage Information with your Personal Information, we will treat it as Personal Information.



IP address or "Device Identifier" (a number that is automatically assigned to your Device used to access the Sites), and our applications use this identifier to uniquely define your device on our platform;


  • Your Device (including browser, operating system, hardware, and mobile network information);
  • The URL that connects you to our Sites;
  • The areas within our Sites that you visit and your activities there, including remembering you and your preferences;
  • Your Device location in relation to a specific lock or device;
  • Your Device characteristics; and
  • Certain other Device data, including the time of day, location of an event as it pertains to the lock but not for tracking.



We may use various methods and technologies to store or collect Usage Information ("Tracking Technologies"). Tracking Technologies may set, change, alter or modify settings or configurations on your Device. A few of the Tracking Technologies we may use include, without limitation, the following and any future developed technologies: 


Cookies.  Like many websites, we use “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer’s hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We use persistent cookies to save your registration ID and login password for future logins to the Sites. We also utilize session ID cookies to enable certain features of the Sites, to better understand how you interact with the Sites, and to monitor aggregate usage by visitors and web traffic routing on the Sites.  We also may use cookies to manage our advertising on other sites. In these cases, our advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to collect non-personal information such as your browsing history. This is used to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests.  You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from websites you visit. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use all portions of the Sites or all functionality of the Service.


Web Beacons.  Small graphic images or other web programming code called web beacons (also known as "1x1 GIFs" or "clear GIFs"). Web beacons or similar technologies may be used for several purposes, including, without limitation, to count visitors to the Sites, to monitor how users navigate the Sites, to count how many e-mails that were sent were opened, or to count how many articles or links were viewed.


Embedded Scripts.  An embedded script is programming code that is designed to collect information about your interactions with the Sites it is only active while you are connected to the Site and is deactivated or deleted thereafter.


We may use Tracking Technologies for a variety of purposes and when strictly necessary to allow you to use and access our Sites. There may be other Tracking Technologies used now or in the future in connection with our Sites. In addition, third parties may use Tracking Technologies with our Sites. We may not control those Tracking Technologies and we are not responsible for them. However, you consent to potentially encountering third-party Tracking Technologies in connection with the use of our Sites and accept that our statements under this Privacy Policy do not apply to the Tracking Technologies or practices of such third parties.



We may use Personal Information (in some cases, in conjunction with Non-Identifying Information) to:

We may employ third party companies and individuals to provide or assist in providing the services or products you request, perform Site-related services (e.g., maintenance services, web analytics, and database management), or for other businesses purposes such as marketing or advertising. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only as necessary to perform these tasks and are contractually obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. We may also disclose Personal Information concerning you, your organization, or specific projects to third parties, such as employers, vendors, or suppliers, who have arranged for discounts, terms, or rates on your behalf.



Except as indicated within this Policy, we will not sell, rent or transfer your Personal Information to or otherwise share your Personal Information with third parties. We may share or transfer your Personal Information as directed to do so by you. We may share Personal Information with existing or future third-party partners for product support or marketing reasons. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy and data security practices of these third parties.


We may share aggregated information such as demographic information, domain names, other site traffic information, etc., with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, and other purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.


We may otherwise transfer Personal Information or Usage Information to third-party vendors who act for us for further processing in accordance with the purposes for which the information was originally collected, or for purposes to which you have subsequently consented. For example, sometimes a third-party vendor may have access to your Personal Information or Usage Information in order to support our information technology or help obtain, compile and manage the information for us.


We may use third-party vendors to perform certain services on behalf of us or the Sites, and/or application, designing and/or operating the Sites features, tracking the Sites activities and analytics, or enabling us to perform other administrative services. We may provide these vendors with access to user information, including Device Identifiers and Personal Information, to carry out the services they are performing for you including:

  • to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, subpoenas, governmental requests, or legal process if in our good faith opinion such is required or permitted by law;
  • to protect and/or defend the Sites Terms of Use or other policies applicable to the Sites, including investigation of potential violations thereof;

All guests expressly consent to such use and disclosure as a user of the Service. If you are a guest and do not consent to such use, you should stop using the Service and any applications in connection with the service. Guests should be aware that the person(s) providing access to a specific device may be able to see information about the guest’s usage of the device and our Service and may revoke or limit access rights in their discretion without notice. In order to use our some of our applications, you must download a mobile application and set up an account. During this process, we will ask you for certain information necessary to establish and use your account, including your name, company name (where applicable) and email address. When you register through the Sites and interact with the Sites or Apps, Denali personnel will see the Personal Information you provide.



Denali users may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information associated with their account at any time. If you completely delete all such information, your account will be deactivated, and you may lose access to the Service and your use of the device. Note, some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records or as otherwise required by law. The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally-accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.



We may record information relating to the setup, general performance, and operation of our Service, your application and lock, including device status, logs of those who lock/unlock the device and Service, the guests that you invite, and those people who may invite you as a guest, to use the device and application. We may store this data along with your Personal Information and other information about your use of our Service. We use this information to allow you (and us) to operate and monitor your device and our Service. Additionally, certain portions of your Personal Information, device and Service information may be shared with the people that you invite, such as your name and lock location, and the status of the lock (e.g. locked or unlocked). We may also collect Personal Information (as required to use the Service as set forth in this Privacy Policy) about the guests that you invite in order to allow them to have access to your locks and Service. All such information (including their Service usage information) is subject to and will be used and disclosed as set forth in, this Privacy Policy.



When you connect with Denali through a forum, chat room, or other social networking platform (including, without limitation, Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn), any Personal Information you share may be visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them or us. You are responsible for the information you choose to submit in these instances and are encouraged to read the privacy policies or statements of these social networking sites.

Our Sites may offer publicly accessible blogs, comments sections, or other interactive features. In the event Denali is part of a business transaction with another company, such as a merger, corporate reorganization, acquisition, the sale of all or a portion of our assets, or in the event of bankruptcy, information that we have collected from or about you or your devices may be disclosed to such other entity as part of the due diligence or business integration process and may be included in any related transfer of assets.



IMPORTANT: When you use the applications and Services, your data is sent to the United States and possibly other countries. Your information may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction.
